Year 2000 Contingency Planning Process

This document describes a generic contingency planning process, designed to address the Year 2000 problem, but is also considered useful when considering more general contingency planning.

The aim of Year 2000 preparedness was to manage the risk of the items that are under your control and be aware and ready for the items that are out of your control. It is easy to see that such careful contingency planning is also essential for a number of other potentially events which could be dangerous or otherwise affect normal operations.
