Working at Height DVD

The offshore oil and gas business is an industry leader in developing safety practices and safe working systems, but falls from height are still a serious problem world-wide. Falls from a height are the single largest cause of death and serious injury in industry today and one of the problems in dealing with these incidents is that they are so varied.

For this reason, IMCA has developed a video to help promote the need for safety awareness when working at height - taking the time to use proper protective equipment, safe working practices and looking out for yourself and your colleagues.

Various hazards are discussed, with real-life demonstrations of what to do and what not to do in situations such as working up or near a ladder, on a stinger, near an open hold and during loading/ unloading of pipes.

The 2005 updated saw the DVD with added subtitles in eight key languages - Arabic, Filipino, French, Indonesian, Italian, Malay, Portuguese and Spanish. The video is available on both NTSC format (for North America and certain other areas) and PAL (for other locations) DVDs - please state which you require when ordering.
