Videos
IMCA has produced a number of well-received videos aimed at highlighting vital safety issues. Each is available as a DVD in both PAL and NTSC formats and is subtitled in key languages for use with a variety of offshore workforces.
Working at Height
The offshore oil and gas business is an industry leader in developing safety systems of work, but falls from height are still a serious problem. This video promotes the need for safety awareness, discusses various hazards and provides real-life demonstrations of good practice.
Slips, Trips and Finger Nips
Risk assessments, job safety analysis, toolbox talks, etc. all help to identify potential hazards and to avoid them. This video addresses two of the most frequent remaining causes of injury offshore - 'slips and trips' and injuries associated with crushing and pinching.
Risk Assessment
Risk assessment is a very important process – the more it is used, the better we will get at controlling hazards and the less likely the occurrence of injuries to people, damage to equipment or harm to the environment.
