The Initial and Periodic Examination, Testing and Certification of Hyperbaric Evacuation Launch Systems

This publication defines the initial and periodic examination and test criteria applicable to the launch and recovery of hyperbaric rescue systems.

Specific factors that must be considered in establishing test protocols for launch systems are identified. A standard test regime to which specific load factors can be applied as appropriate to each system is given, and guidance on maintenance and deployment practice is provided.
