Auditing of IMCA Training Courses for Diving Personnel
|
IMCA requires all training establishments (whether diver training schools, companies with in-house facilities or independent bodies) intending to run any course as part of an IMCA certification scheme (trainee diving supervisor or assistant life support technician) to submit to an initial audit (and subsequent periodic audits) of that course by approved IMCA auditors.
This revised document provides the framework in which this takes place, clarifies existing procedures and sets out a regime that is workable for IMCA, fair to the training establishments and which provides appropriate oversight of such courses.
