Despite events two days earlier in the United States of America, over 50 delegates joined together in Stavanger for the seminar, held for the first time alongside IMCA's tenth annual Marine Division Seminar & Workshops, the event as a whole having attracted around 250 registrations.
The day included a joint session with the marine event, with presentations relevant to delegates from across the marine contracting sector. This was followed by two parallel sessions, one specifically focussed on diving topics, then, after lunch, two workshops sessions, bit both topics of joint and seperate interest to those attending the two events.
As in previous years, a wide range of operational and managerial personnel from across the industry attended the event, bringing a broad depth of experience and using it to good effect in lively and constructive debate. Members of IMCA's Diving Division Management Committee came away with a number of topics having been highlighted as ones where IMCA could usefully carry out work and provide guidance for its members.
