Marine Division Events
IMCA Marine Division established what has now become the IMCA Annual Seminar, which has attracted in excess of 350 delegates in locations around the globe.
The first event, organised by IMCA predecessor the DP Vessel Owners Association (DPVOA), took place in Stavanger, Norway, in 1993 to cover primarily DP station keeping issues. A successful format of presentations, workshops and social programme developed as the event toured the global industry's key locations, attracting vessel operators' operational, managerial and engineering personnel together with specialist consultants, equipment manufacturers, regulators and others.
Since 2001 the event has expanded to address an ever wider programme, but through the use of parallel sessions has been able to maintain the dedicated technical focus that has proved so attractive for delegates from around the world. See below for details on the current event or below right for information on previous events, including obtaining copies of the proceedings.
This year's IMCA annual seminar will take place on 4-5 November at the Sofitel Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.
A call for papers has been issued and development of an extensive and interesting programme is underway - click here for full details.
