The International Maritime Organization's Guidelines for Vessels with Dynamic Positioning Systems set a requirement for flag state verification and acceptance documents (FSVADs) to be produced.
This document was produced to provide guidelines on the procedures and requirements that a flag state could expect of vessel operators in order for an FSVAD to be issued.
