Analysis of Station Keeping Incident Data 1994-2003

Knowing the high value members place on the annual report on DP station keeping incidents, IMCA has taken this one step further to commission this report on the ten years 1994-2003, identifying trends and providing more detailed analysis on underlying causes.

The contents can be summarised as follows:

  • Sections 1-2 - an overview setting the scene, characterised by a DP incident model shown on the first page
  • Sections 3-10 - more detailed analysis of areas that are important and for which there is enough data to show useful trends and contrasts
  • Sections 11-12 - addressing the effectiveness of incident reporting and summarising the report’s conclusions.
