Training in the ROV Sector
IMCA helps ensure that ROV training courses equip their students with the skills required by the industry for its operations at the cutting edge of technology around the world.
Training guidance
IMCA provides a forum through which the expertise of companies operating ROVs around the world is shared and built in to industry guidance, particularly in relation to training. As well as covering the range of skills and activities courses should cover, the guidance sets out the entry level requirements that potential recruits will face. Pilot/technician level roles require a particular level of expertise and those considering embarking on a career working with ROVs will need to ensure they have the necessary background and knowledge before undertaking such a course.
