High Voltage Equipment: Safety Procedures for Working on ROVs

This document provides guidance for electrical safety in respect of surface personnel operating ROVs.

Drawing on a number of technical standards and with extensive references, it clarifies procedures in areas not considered previously and provides a guide to training requirements for personnel likely to be exposed to such work.

Review in 2003 by members in the IMCA Americas Deepwater Section has enhanced the document's international applicability.

The appendix sets out a syllabus for high voltage safety training.
