Technical Guidance and Reports

IMCA produces guidance and technical reports to assist its Offshore Survey Division members throughout their operations.

A particular area where IMCA guidance has been beneficial has been that of data sharing, recording and transfer. With survey companies often working closely with other marine contractors, IMCA also provides a vital link between different groups who may work together on a single vessel. Examples include guidance on the sharing of DGPS systems and other vessel sensors.
