IMCA Annual Seminar
The IMCA annual seminar brings together members and industry colleagues from around the world for the event in the marine contracting calendar.
Each year, a range of operational, technical and management personnel gathers with consultants, manufacturers, clients and regulators for a busy programme on the latest technological developments, operational achivements and 'hot' issues facing the industry. Over 430 delegates gathered in Kuala Lumpur for the 2008 event.
The event has grown out of the annual DP station keeping seminar and now includes sessions on contracting issues, marine and diving and operations, with a range of presentations, panel discussions and workshops.
An exhibition of IMCA's supplier members demonstrating the latest products and services takes place alongside the event, with a diverse social and networking schedule too.
This year's IMCA annual seminar will take place on 4-5 November at the Sofitel Rio de Janeiro in Brazil on the theme Integrated marine operations in challenging times.
Full details on the extensive programme and online registration are now available on this website - click here.
The 2008 IMCA annual seminar took place on 5-6 November in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on the theme Global alignment in marine operations with a record number of delegates in attendance.
The proceedings CD is available from IMCA, with a brief report posted online. Click here for full details.
