IMCA's regional sections provide a forum for members to address local issues, network and both learn about and contribute to the association's global work programme.

The Europe & Africa Section holds a variety of meetings and workshops both on the association's global work programme and, in particular, on a variety of topical issues relevant to members in the region.

With most IMCA committees and workgroups primarily based in the region, however, the section also provides opportunities for additional work on new and interesting topics. Local issues covered by workgroups, events and other activities include decommissioning, renewable energy and both regional and national legislation and other initiatives.
