Europe & Africa Section Events

The IMCA Europe & Africa Section holds its meetings at venues around the region.

Certain sessions are dedicated to voting member business, open to Contractor (ICO/Co) and Supplier (S/S*) members.

Often these meetings then open up for Corresponding (C) members and other guests, including those interested in membership, regulators and representatives of other industry organisations. This session includes an overview of current IMCA activities, plus guest speakers giving presentations on topics of interest to those active in the marine contracting industry.

A variety of dedicated briefing seminars has also been held, as far apart as Oslo in Norway and Cape Town, South Africa.

The section has also held seminars on topics such as security, decommissioning and renewable energy that have provided input and momentum for ongoing IMCA work.
