IMCA's Middle East & India Section meets quarterly in the region to provide members with networking opportunities, present the work of IMCA to clients and other potential members and to enable discussion of key topics of interest in the region. The section's primary objective is to create/ enhance a level playing field of offshore diving operations conducted to safe working standards, although its focus continues to broaden in light of expanding local membership across the four IMCA technical divisions.
History & Achievements
Originally founded under AODC in 1992, the section has continually strived to raise technical and safety practices among companies operating in the region. The efforts made by local members have been proven by expanding membership and increasing take-up of IMCA guidance by contractors and operating companies across the region.
