As the market recovers, it is of the greatest importance to ensure that the industry is properly positioned and ready for an increase in demand for trained and skilled personnel. Moving towards standardised and agreed mechanisms for assessing and verifying the competence of freelance professionals is one of the key ways that we can do this.
The IMCA Competence & Training Core Committee is holding a Seminar on Tuesday 5 February 2019, at the Marriott Hotel in Aberdeen, UK.
The Seminar will be of particular interest to those involved in the assessment and verification of the competence of freelance individuals, recruitment and training of technical professionals, agency personnel, and freelance professionals.
There will be presentations from specialists on the topic to address the importance of electronic competence, the use of competence e-portfolios for freelance professionals, and the IMCA freelance competence e-portfolio which was released in April 2018.
This should be a dynamic Seminar, with panel discussions and the opportunity for attendees to ask questions and contribute their views.
The Seminar is free, but spaces are limited.
Look out for further information as it is released.
