IMCA to give Opening Address at the International Underwater Operations & Offshore Industry Expo 2019, China

The International Marine Contractor’s Association’s (IMCA) Chief Executive Officer, Allen Leatt will address the opening ceremony of the fourth International Underwater Operations & Offshore Industry Expo and participate in the sixth International Diving & Salvage and Marine Engineering Technology Forum in November.
UO Expo 2019, organised by the China Diving & Salvage Contractors Association (CDSA), is taking place between 1-3 November in Xiamen, China, and is an international platform showcasing state-of-the-art technologies and products, sharing knowledge and experience, and exploring global business opportunities in areas such as diving, rescue, salvage and underwater engineering.
Allen Leatt statedIMCA and CDSA have worked closely together for a number of years focusing on how to improve safety in all diving activities. It is an honour to be delivering the opening address at this year’s Expo in Xiamen and I look forward to presenting an update on IMCA’s activities in the International Forum. Our participation at this event demonstrates our ongoing connection with our members globally and the focus of the EXPO is fully in-line with our diving heritage.
 
About China Diving & Salvage Contractors Association
The China Diving & Salvage Contractors Association (CDSA) was formally established in Beijing in June 2008. CDSA is a state-level non-profit association which is made up of enterprises and institutions in fields of diving, salvage, rescue, marine & underwater engineering, equipment & facility manufacturing, diving medical support, marine research, training and insurance. CDSA operates under Ministry of Civil Affairs of China and carries out its business under the guidance of the Ministry of Transport of China.
