This document sets out a risk assessment to provide clear direction as to acceptable intervals for the internal examination of cylinders.

The risk assessment is managed and reviewed annually by the Diving Industry Committee – a stakeholder group set up to inform the industry of technical, safety and regulatory developments in UK diving. Its contents are in line with UK regulations and advice from the Health & Safety Executive.

A number of annexes are included covering different sectors of the diving industry, including a ‘commercial offshore’ annex sponsored by IMCA.

IMCA supports the committee and is pleased to make this document available via its website.
