Greenhouse Gases

The Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Committee supports Members to reduce Scope One emissions from vessels and operations.

Through IMCA's ProjectGHG campaign and our Technical Library, it shares the latest on regulatory constraints and taxation, explores technological innovation and new approaches, and highlights best-practice from across the maritime industry.

With the industry increasingly being put in the spotlight around how it operates, and in response to Member demand for additional support in this area, we established the GHG Committee to spearhead a renewed focus from IMCA on ensuring a sustainable transition to a new offshore energy mix.

The Committee brings together a number of subject matter experts from across the Membership base.
