A global reach

IMCA is an international trade association representing the vast majority of contractors and the associated supply chain in the offshore marine construction industry worldwide. We have more than 700 members operating in over 60 countries. 

IMCA’s value proposition is to influence our industry in key technical, contractual, policy and regulatory matters that are in the best interest of the marine contracting industry. 

We are unlike most traditional trade associations in that our focus is to improve industry performance through authoritative technical standards leading to safe and efficient operations, rather than through commercial lobbying. We have a highly developed committee structure comprising of industry leading figures who work tirelessly in support of better performance through self regulation.

Membership is available to companies and organisations involved in offshore, marine and underwater engineering. There are six categories of membership, covering global, international and national contractors, plus suppliers, energy company companies, regulators, NGOs and other related industry organisations. 

Our matrix committee structure of technical divisions and geographic regions provides members with ample opportunity to engage with experts in all facets of international marine contracting.
