Since we were founded, we have been driven to improve safety and performance in the marine contracting industry.

Central to this is our Technical Library, an extensive collection of around 230 Guidance documents and 250 Information Notes which cover almost every aspect of offshore operations.

Whether diving, marine, remote operations and ROV, or offshore survey, our industry-leading technical documents ensure that wherever our Members are based or working, they have the tools to work to the highest standards in safety and sustainability.

International Maritime Organization (IMO)

Representing our industry

Across our day-to-day work programme, we collaborate with a range of industry stakeholders to promote safer and more sustainable operations offshore.

Through our engagement at the IMO and the EU we represent our Members to regulators and policymakers, ensuring the specific needs of our industry are understood.

Industry-leading events

Our global programme of technical seminars brings Members together to share expertise, explore the latest guidance and recommended best practice from IMCA, and build vital connections with local colleagues and experts.

The go-to events for both the industry and our Members on key specialist topics, recent Technical Seminars have brought together experts in Safety, Dynamic Positioning (DP), Lifting and Rigging, Offshore Contracting, GHG emissions and Underwater Ship Husbandry.

As well as an engaging line-up of prominent speakers, they provide the opportunity for Members to feed into the creation of IMCA Guidance through interactive sessions and practical workshops.
