Why join an IMCA Committee?

IMCA Committees bring Members together to shape our activity across a range of technical and specialist areas, and to ensure that the voice of IMCA Members is reflected in everything we do.

Committee members will contribute to the development of technical guidance, industry events, and other initiatives that support safety, sustainability, and technical excellence in marine construction. They may also provide guidance and feedback on the Member services and benefits that IMCA provides.

Please note that Committee members will be expected to attend up to four meetings-per-year (at least one of these will be in person) and undertake other work between meetings.

For further information on the role of IMCA Committees and Committee members, please explore our governance page.

To express your interest in joining one of IMCA’s Committees, please complete the self-nomination form below. You may then be invited for a call with IMCA’s secretariat and members of the Committee you wish to join to discuss your application further.

We encourage all IMCA Members to apply to join an IMCA Committee if they feel they have something to offer, regardless of their age, gender, location, or the size of the Member company they work for, and commit to running a transparent and consistent approach to selecting all Committee members.
