HSS Security

The HSS Security sub-committee ensures Members are effectively informed on threats to maritime security and crew safety concerns through monitoring and reacting to geopolitical events, activism, piracy, and criminality. Its primary purpose is to keep Members informed of the latest recommendations through IMCA communication channels.

Committee members include vessel operators, who may be sending assets and crews into areas of the world where there are threats to offshore activity. Through the Secretariat, it liaises with a range of maritime and industry stakeholders and sits on the Joint Industry Security Group (JISG).
