Published on 18 April 2024
IMCA is delighted to share details of the programme for the upcoming IMCA Dynamic Positioning (DP) Conference in Amsterdam on Tuesday 21 and Wednesday 22 May 2024.
Alongside a keynote from IMCA CEO Iain Grainger, the two-day Conference showcases thought leadership and best practice from a range of organisations including the Nautical Institute, Petrobras, DNV, Subsea7, Valaris, Simwave, and Kongsberg Maritime. It also features the latest thinking from IMCA on DP and Safety.
Interactive workshops on Walk to Work and Annual Trials and IMCA M190, as well as engaging panel discussions and Q&A sessions on assurance and training and Position Reference Systems, will provide delegates with a unique opportunity to shape the future of their own sector with all conversations feeding into the work programme of IMCA’s DP Committee. This year, we are also pleased to welcome a new Conference host, BBC Science Correspondent, award winning podcaster, and European Space Agency commentator Richard Hollingham.
Commenting on the Conference, Richard Purser, Technical Adviser – Marine said: “We’re once again looking forward to welcoming the DP community to Amsterdam in a few weeks’ time.”
“As in previous years, we’ve developed an engaging programme of technical content, interactive workshops, and panel discussions with industry experts which will provide anyone working in DP with the latest best practice on safety, CPD, annual trials, and technological improvements.”
“Early Bird tickets have been popular, so you’ve only a few weeks to secure one of the remaining slots. We recommend booking as soon as possible to ensure you don’t miss out.”
IMCA would also like to thank gold sponsor Fugro for their support of the Conference this year. Additional opportunities are still available for organisations looking to reach our audience of technical leads and decision makers. Get in touch with us to find out more.
