International Code of Safety for Diving Operations approved by IMO’s SSE Sub-Committee

Update from the MPRA Committee

A revised Green House Gas (GHG) Strategy is expected to be adopted by June/July 2023 by The International Maritime Organization (IMO). IMCA is engaging with Marine and Coastguard Agency (MCA) regarding its guidance on the Application of the Special Purpose Ships Code which removes the previously applicable grandfather clause permitting existing UK and foreign flagged vessels already operating on the UKCS to continue operating.
