Requirements for IMCA-approved Assistant Life Support Technician training courses
This document should be read in conjunction with IMCA G 010 – IMCA assessment procedure for training course approval. It sets out requirements for training providers offering preparatory ALST courses as a step towards IMCA Life Support Technician certification, as set out in IMCA D 013.
A new “Record of ALST Task Training Exercises and Familiarisation Routines” template is now available for trainees, for use following a preparatory ALST course ahead of application to sit the IMCA LST exam. A copy of the template can be downloaded from this page. This will be required in a forthcoming update to the certification scheme document, IMCA D 013.
