This document provides an analysis of vessel inspection findings, and reviews the quality assurance findings of the inspections carried out by the IMCA Accredited Vessel Inspectors (AVIs).
The document covers inspections conducted between 1 April 2024 and 1 April 2025 using IMCA's standardised eCMID and eMISW inspection formats for vessels over and under 500 gross tonnage, respectively.
The report aims to improve safety and operational standards by identifying common inspection findings, highlighting high-risk issues, and recommending improvements in inspection quality and vessel operations.
