IMCA Middle East & India Regional Meeting

IMCA returns to Dubai for its Middle East and India regional meeting on Thursday 12 October 2023.

Iain Grainger will be in attendance in what will be his first visit to the Middle East and India region as our new CEO. He’ll be sharing his vision for IMCA and the industry, and discussing recent developments and future opportunities in the region.

Alongside him from IMCA will be Bryan McGlinchy, Diving Manager who will give an IMCA update, and Margaret Fitzgerald, Head of Legal & Regulatory Affairs, who will explore the latest developments on GHG emission reduction at the IMO. Chris Rodricks, Business Development – Middle East & India, will also be in attendance.

Attendees will also hear from Fugro on Remote and Autonomous Operations, Andrew Laing of the Unique Group on The New IMO Diving Code – A Manufacturer’s Perspective, and Omar Baobaid from ADNOC will explore Green Maritime Corridors.

The meeting will be taking place at the Jumeirah Creekside Hotel in Dubai, and will be continuing the conversation from our previous successful session in Abu Dhabi last May. Registration is from 8.30am for a 9:00am start and the event concludes after lunch at 2.30pm.
