IMCA will host an online technical seminar on how biodiversity and nature considerations are being integrated into offshore operations.

Bringing together contractors, clients, innovators and external experts, the session will showcase practical case studies and innovative approaches already being applied in real projects. Speakers will share what has worked, what has been challenging, and what others can learn, alongside insight into emerging drivers.

These online events are designed to:

  • Share real-world experience from across the offshore industry,
  • Highlight increasing expectations from regulators, investors and clients,
  • Provide lessons that can support tendering, planning and operations,
  • Encourage exchange between industry and the wider sustainability community.

Date: Wednesday 13th May
Time: 10:00 - 11:30 UTC

There will be the opportunity to ask questions of the speakers during the session.

Seminar objectives:

  • Show how biodiversity is being considered in practice
  • Explain the business case for nature-positive approaches
  • Provide transferable lessons for organisations
