Engine room CO₂ isolating valve
The Marine Safety Forum (MSF) has published Safety Flash 11-31 (attached) regarding a ‘routine’ inspection of a vessel’s COâ‚‚ fire fighting system. It was noticed that the engine room COâ‚‚ isolating valve remained in the closed position when the valve handle was manually operated.
