Inadequate snap hooks on life jackets

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) has published the following safety flash regarding potentially inadequate snap hooks on certain brands of lifejacket.
The USCG recommends that owners/operators that have Revere model 198 RT or 160 RT lifejackets or vests on board their vessels inspect them closely for this potential defect.
