Some more stories of good things happening – what went right.
Respiratory PPE compliance observed
During welding activities, good adherence was observed of respiratory PPE. The welder was seen to be properly equipped with helmet and respiratory protection, demonstrating strong safety awareness. Overall, great safe practice was observed; minor attention to hose arrangement was recommended to reduce trip hazards.

Weekdays Food Labelling Compliance
Galley staff were found to have consistently observed correct day-to-day labelling on prepared food items. This reflects good hygiene practices, effective stock rotation, and strong compliance with food safety standards.

Good SOLAS compliance and Watertight door integrity management
On one vessel a very high standard of SOLAS compliance was observed. The vessel maintains watertight doors in a closed position while at anchorage, demonstrating strong awareness of safety requirements and commitment to maintaining watertight integrity.

Strong emergency preparedness and emergency systems operation awareness
The Emergency response team demonstrated a high level of preparedness and showed clear awareness of emergency procedures and strong understanding of the water mist system, including both manual and automatic activation. Good maintenance and readiness of fire response systems were also evident, supporting reliability and effective emergency response.
